Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, has clarified why the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II didn't participate in the Global Summit of Religious Leaders in Baku, Report informs.
Pashazade told journalists that appeals regarding this matter were received from other religious leaders.
"However, I noted that Garegin II's participation in the summit in Baku would only be possible if he recognized Azerbaijan's territorial integrity. Since there was no response from the opposite side, no invitation to the event was sent to him," emphasized the CMB chairman.
