The Albanian-Udi Christian religious community of Azerbaijan has announced its readiness to cooperate with the Armenian Gregorian Church for peace and humanity and to live together in the liberated territories, Report informs, citing the community's statement.
"The tolerance of the Azerbaijani people, the care and support of the Azerbaijani state for all religions give grounds to say that members of the Armenian Gregorian Church will be treated humanely. A prime example of this respect is the Armenian church of St.Gregory, which was restored and preserved by the Azerbaijani government in downtown Baku. Despite centuries of influence and pressure from the Armenian Gregorian Church, which has dealt a severe blow to Albanian heritage through misappropriation and falsification, we also express our readiness to cooperate with the Armenian Gregorian Church and live together in the liberated territories for peace and humanity," the statement reads.
The Albanian-Udi Christian community of Azerbaijan issued a statement today. It was signed by Robert Mobili, chairman of the Albanian-Udi Christian religious community in Azerbaijan.
