President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, for the first time, voiced the number of Ukrainian soldiers who died defending their land,
According to Zelensky, 1,300 Ukrainian soldiers have died since the beginning of the war.
"Ukraine has lost about 1,300 servicemen, but Russia has lost more than 12,000. One out of ten. I'm not happy that 12,000 of them died," the Ukrainian president said.
Zelensky clarified that this is not his worldview as a whole, since Russians also have parents.
"They were sent, most of them did not even know where they came," Zelensky said.
He noted that the Russian military is talking about some kind of fascism.
"They were brainwashed with their information policy that we are some kind of Nazis here," Zelensky added.
