Vladimir Putin says Ukraine's losses 8 times more than ours

The ratio of losses of Ukrainian formations and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which has been ongoing for the fifth month, is approximately 8 to 1, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said in an interview with the China Media Corporation, Report informs.

As the head of the Russian state noted, the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been ongoing since June 4, 2023. However, so far there have been no real results of the counteroffensive, but only huge losses in the personnel of the Ukrainian formations.

"The losses are simply huge - approximately one in eight, if in the ratio," said the President of the Russian Federation.

"Therefore, the start of the special military operation was not the start of a war, but an attempt to end it. As for what needs to be done and how it needs to be done in order to end the conflict by peaceful means: we have never been against this," Putin noted.
