Oleksandr Skakun, acting head of Ukraine's Kharkiv Oblast, said the Ukrainian Army would hold exercises near the Russian border next week, Report informs via the Ukrainian website censor.net.
According to Skakun, more than 3,000 Ukrainian servicemen will take part in the exercises.
"All this is in line with the philosophy of protection of the state border. For the first time, we are talking to them about our work on territorial defense at the border. There will be more such exercises," he said.
