Ukraine assigns tasks to unit commanders in Volyn direction to strengthen defense

The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, during a working visit to the Volyn region, set clear tasks for the commanders of brigades, battalions, companies, and platoons, the Joint Forces Command said on Telegram, Report informs, citing Ukrinform.

Nayev noted that the definition of clear tasks for the future is not only words but also significant assistance from both local government leaders in Volyn and the military command. "All these issues are under my personal control," he emphasized.

"Commanders of brigades, battalions, companies, and platoons have been assigned a number of tasks to be done in the future. After some time, we will work again at each stronghold and carry out an inspection," the commander emphasized.

According to him, the Volyn region borders the Republic of Belarus, so the commanders have been tasked to strengthen their defense capabilities.
