Turkiye has provided the Defense Forces of Georgia with new logistic equipment, the local bureau of Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.
Eight mini excavator-loader tractors of the Turkish company Hydromek were handed to improve the logistics capabilities of the Georgian army.
Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze and Turkish Ambassador Ali Kaan Orbay took part in the equipment handover ceremony. They inspected the new equipment and got acquainted with its capabilities.
The delivery of logistic equipment was carried out within the framework of the military and financial cooperation agreement signed between Georgia and Turkiye in 2019. The cost of the equipment is $404,824.
