The world's water resources are rapidly decreasing, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the conference on the opening of 369 water bodies across the country, Report informs.
He named the reasons for this: "Of course, population growth also affects water scarcity. There is no change in the amount of precipitation."
According to Erdogan, climate change also causes an increase in the number of natural disasters in the world, and the order of the world is being disrupted: "If we do not act, we may face more severe consequences. Water should be used sparingly. It's not a choice, it's a compulsion."
