Turkish President: Turning point achieved to end Russia-Ukraine war

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron, Report informs via Turkish media.
During the conversation, bilateral relations between Türkiye and France, regional and global issues were discussed.
Erdogan stated that a historic turning point has been achieved in ending the war between Russia and Ukraine, and that Türkiye is ready to make all kinds of contributions, including hosting negotiations, to ensure a ceasefire and lasting peace.
The Turkish leader emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation in starting permanent peace talks between Ukraine and Russia and carefully implementing Ukraine's recovery processes.
