Turkish President instructs Turkish authorities to accelerate construction of nuclear power plants

Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan signed a decree instructing Turkish authorities to provide maximum assistance to the projects of Nuclear Power Plant Construction for their early implementation, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.

"Successful implementation of nuclear power plant construction projects in our country to meet the increased demand for electricity, reducing dependence on imported energy carriers and diversifying them is of great importance. In this regard, the relevant organizations and agencies that conduct these projects in coordination with the Ministry of Energy will provide maximum assistance and support to these processes for their early completion without delay to use effectively from nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes," the presidential decree published in the official publication of Resmi Gazete reads.
