Turkish FM talks about impact of Ukraine war on Russia's military presence in Syria

“Russia has two important bases in Syria. It keeps its presence in those bases. On the other hand, according to the intelligence data, there are relocations from some parts of the country to other regions,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with Anadolu, Report informs.

“In addition, the countries of the region we last contacted say that Russian forces have withdrawn from the Syrian-Jordanian border and are moving inland. In other words, there may be changes due to the war in Ukraine, but we do not see very serious changes in terms of numbers,” the Turkish foreign minister noted.
