If Armenia fulfills its obligations envisaged in the agreements signed with Azerbaijan, it will become one of the crucial actors in the region, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Report informs.
Cavusoglu noted that huge investments have been made in creating the necessary infrastructure to realize the East-West transport corridor passing through the Caspian region:
"Central Asian countries, Turkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia participate in this project. If Armenia implements the agreements signed with Azerbaijan, it can participate in this project."
"For many years, Armenia has isolated itself by keeping Azerbaijani territories under occupation. After the liberation of Karabakh (by Azerbaijan), an opportunity for peace emerged. Armenia should appreciate this," Cavusoglu noted.
