Turkish Embassy plays marches in Georgia in response to Armenians’ ‘genocide’ campaign

The Armenians of Georgia are holding a rally in front of the building of the Turkish Embassy in Georgia, timed to the 106th anniversary of the fictional ‘Armenian genocide,’ the Georgian bureau of Report informs.

The rally started with a march from the Georgian National Philharmonic Hall.

Participants of the campaign with flags of Armenia and Georgia and placards are chanting anti-Turkish slogans. The police have established an iron cordon around the embassy, and security measures have been strengthened.

The Turkish Embassy met the rally of the participants with a reciprocal action. In the courtyard of the diplomatic mission, Turkish marches and songs are played via loudspeakers at full volume. By this, Turkey demonstrates that it doesn’t accept the false and unfounded claims of the Armenians.

In front of the embassy there are photos of Mount Agridag on display. Photos of Turkey’s tallest mountain have been on display since April 23 as part of the National Sovereignty and Children’s Day event.

The retaliatory campaign was supported by a group of Azerbaijani youth with the flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
