Turkish commentator: Armenian leadership must come to terms with new reality

"With the liberation of Azerbaijan's native lands from occupation, the attempts of political circles to preserve the region as a conflict zone were prevented. Specifically, the double standards applied by the United States and France were intended to undermine Azerbaijan's victory in the Patriotic War," Turkish writer, journalist, and political commentator Omer Ozgaya told Report's local bureau.

According to him, despite double standards, Azerbaijan has won an unprecedented victory:

"After this victory, Armenia's actions are aimed at provoking Azerbaijan. Instead of preparing to sign a peace agreement, Armenia is humbly demonstrating such inappropriate actions at this stage. In this way, it again calls on its patrons to become more active in the region."

The political commentator said that Armenia's attacks were not accidental:

"However, the Armenian leadership and the public are doomed to come to terms with the new reality. Azerbaijan will further strengthen its cooperation with Turkey, Russia, Iran, China, and Britain and substantiate the new political reality it has created."
