The CoronaVac coronavirus vaccine produced by China's Sinovac company will be tested on more than 700 health workers in Turkey, Report says, citing CNN Turkey.

Professor Mustafa Kemal Çelen, head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Dicle University in Turkey and a member of the provincial pandemic board, said that 14 centers would carry out vaccine trials. According to him, the volunteers who will participate in the test process must be between 18-59 years old.

By the way, according to the agreement reached between the European Union and Pfizer / BioNTech, the union will pay the company 4.65 billion euros for the 300 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine, which means that one dose costs 15.5 euros.

Notably, Turkish scientist Uğur Şahin originally developed this vaccine. Professor Ugur Shahin, founder and CEO of BioNTech said the coronavirus vaccine could be ready next month.
