Turkey to deepen cooperation with Georgia

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met with Georgian Ambassador to this country Giorgi Janjgava, the Georgian bureau of Report informs, referring to the Georgian Embassy in Turkey.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the countries, as well as trade and economic relations and the situation in the region.

At the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the friendly relations and positive dynamics of the strategic partnership between Turkey and Georgia.

Cavusoglu confirmed that Turkey resolutely supports the territorial integrity of Georgia and its integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures.

In conclusion, the parties agreed to continue activities to deepen cooperation for the welfare of both countries.
