Turkish Minister: International community should warn Armenia

"While condemning Armenia's violations and attacks, Turkey supports a peaceful solution to this problem within Azerbaijan's territorial integrity,"  TRT Haber quotes Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

Akar commented on the latest escalation during an online event of the Turkish Heritage Organization in Washington entitled, "Turkey's National Defense Strategy and Recent Developments in the Region." 

"The United States and the international community must forewarn Yerevan to deviate from such attacks and use a constructive approach to resolve it," he said.

Touching upon the tensions over the F-35 and S-400, Akar spoke about the mutual importance between Turkey and the US, and NATO. Turkey is one of the authors of the F-35 project.

The minister emphasized they were ready to hold talks with the United States on the F-35 and S-400.
