Six people died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Dushanbe

Members of a family of six died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning in Dushanbe, said the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of Tajikistan, Report informs via TASS.
“Six members of one family <...> died from carbon monoxide poisoning,” the committee said.
According to the committee, the incident occurred on the night of February 28 in the Firdavsi district in northern Dushanbe.
As reported by the Asia-Plus portal, among the dead were four children aged 6 to 11 years, as well as their father and mother. The house was heated with a coal stove; the dead were discovered by neighbors who reported the incident to emergency services.
