Shoigu: Taliban controls border with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan 

“Afghanistan’s border with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan is under the control of Taliban. The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) must be prepared for possible infiltration of terrorists,” said the Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu, Report informs.

Shoigu noted that it is essential for Russia that its allies in the CSTO must be prepared for it.

According to the minister, in spite of promises not to accept any attempts to suppress the border and attacks on adjacent territories, Tajik and Uzbek armed forces must be prepared to repel the possible provocations of the Taliban.
