Russian ship enters port of Batumi, Adjara government gives clarifications

The Russian-flagged ship, 'Leonid Pestrikov', has entered the Georgian port of Batumi, Report's Georgian bureau informs, citing local press.

The Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Tornike Rijvadze commented on the issue. He said the ship did not violate any laws: "The cargo on the ship is intended for Georgia. The cargo was delivered to Georgia from Turkiye.

Rijvadze noted that the rumors that Russian carriers were not allowed to enter the borders of European countries are not true.
