Russian MoD: Ukraine used chemical munitions

The Ukrainian troops used US-made chemical munitions on the battlefield, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, Chief of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, told a briefing, Report informs.

According to the Lieutenant General, the munitions irritate the eyes and upper respiratory tract, can cause paralysis of the respiratory tract and cardiac arrest.

Kirillov said that Ukraine used similar weapons before.
