In order to sign a peace treaty, Ukraine must be neutral and not a member of blocs, including NATO and the European Union (EU), Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said, Report informs.

He said that Ukraine should also confirm that it will not acquire nuclear weapons: “Demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, protection of the rights of Russian-speaking citizens, the Russian language and national minorities, and provision of free movement across the border with Russia are also mandatory conditions. Persecution against Russian individuals and legal entities should be stopped. In addition, the infrastructure destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be restored.”

The deputy minister claims that residents of Ukraine's annexed and occupied Crimea, Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions should determine their own fate.
