The Russian Foreign Ministry has announced new sanctions against the UK, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The measures were taken in response to the ongoing “confrontational course of London, as part of which efforts are being made to demonize the Russian Federation.”
Some British military officials are included in the sanctions lists. Among them are Deputy Secretary of Defense James Cartlidge, Deputy Chief of Defense Staff of the British Army Charles Walker, etc. Representatives of the scientific and academic community were also subject to restrictions. The sanctions affected 18 British citizens.
The Foreign Ministry noted that work on expanding the “stop list” in response to the actions of British officials will continue.
