Russia records highest number of COVID-related deaths

The number of deaths due to coronavirus in Russia has increased by 679 over the past day compared to 672 a day earlier, the highest since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the federal operational headquarters to combat the disease, Report informs referring to TASS.

In total, 136,565 people died in Russia due to COVID.

The number of the recovered has increased by 18,197 over the past day, to 5,035,518, this is the highest value since February 19.

Presently, 389,277 people continue treatment in Russia.
