Rallies demanding Saakashvili’s release to be held in Georgia

A rally demanding the release of former President Mikheil Saakashvili will be held in the Georgian city of Rustavi, said Nika Melia, chairman of the United National Movement, Report informs.
The rally will be held at 3:00 pm in front of a jail where Saakashvili is detained under the slogan “Freedom to Misha”.
Another rally is scheduled for 6:00 pm by activists of For Georgia.
On October 1, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced that the authorities had arrested former president Mikheil Saakashvili.
