Over 400 people evacuated from Tashkent metro

Rescuers of the Uzbek Ministry of Emergency Situations have evacuated 415 people from the Tashkent metro due to a massive power outage in Uzbekistan, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the Uzbek Energy Ministry reported that in the morning there was a power outage in a number of regions of the country. Later, the ministry clarified that a phased restoration of electricity supply had begun. However, the Tashkent metro still did not resume work.
According to the press service of the Kazakh operator for the management of electric networks KEGOC, the accident in the power supply system, which affected a number of Central Asian countries, occurred due to an overload of the transit line in Kazakhstan.
