Armenian police kick archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, detain over 20 people

The special forces of the Armenian police have kicked Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan during the clash in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) building, Report informs via Armenian media.

The police also beat some of the reporters covering the demonstration outside the MFA building and clergymen. The number of those participating in protests in Yerevan has reached 29.

The protest rally, organized by the opposition Armenian movement “Tavush for the Name of the Motherland”, has kicked off in the center of Yerevan, Report informs referring to Sputnik Armenia.

At the moment, a procession is taking place in the capital of Armenia, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan.

Participants demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as an end to the process of delimiting the border with Azerbaijan.
