Türkiye is determined to completely close the terrorism book, stated Omer Celik, spokesman for the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), during a briefing, Report informs.
Celik emphasized that the fight against terrorism will persist, highlighting Türkiye's greatest strength—the power of democracy.
He also noted the shifting balance of global power:
"After Donald Trump came to power in the US, Washington's official tariff policy plays a special role in this matter. I would like to specifically mention the Russia-Ukraine war to our north, the establishment of a new government with the overthrow of Bashar Assad's regime in Syria to our south, and other issues," Celik remarked.
