Türkiye's fate will be decided on May 28 for centuries, not for the next 5 years, said Numan Kurtulmus, First Deputy Chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Parti) of the brotherly country, according to Report's correspondent seconded to Türkiye.

He said that while all forces inside and outside the country united against Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Republican Union presidential candidate, chairman of the Justice and Development Party and the current head of state, the people chose their leader in the first round: “We are calmer about the results of the second round, because the Republican Union won the parliamentary elections, after which it will also defend the rights and desires of our people in parliament."

The second round of the presidential elections in Türkiye will be held on May 28, since none of the presidential candidates in the elections on May 14 won more than 50% of the vote.
