Nearly 1.3 million tourists visit Turkey in January

Some 1,281,666 foreign tourists visited Turkey in January 2022, Report informs, citing Anadolu that this was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Tourist flow to Turkey increased by 50% overall compared to the same month last year.
During the reporting period, the largest number of guests arrived in Turkey from Russia - 134,215, followed by citizens of Bulgaria (109,971) and Iran (106,957). 102,572 arrived from Germany, 34,952 from the UK, 34,605 from the Netherlands, 29,664 from France, 16,266 from Belgium, 12,890 from Australia, and 10,313 from Poland.
