Moldova will reduce the number of the Russian embassy’s staff, the country’s Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicolae Popescu said at a government meeting, Report informs via TASS.
“We came to a common opinion with institutions and persons making political decisions on the need to limit the number of Russian diplomats accredited in Moldova,” Popescu said.
According to him, the reason for this step was the suspicion that "some of the embassy employees are involved in the destabilization of the situation in Moldova."
