Mikheil Saakashvili: "I can die or become disabled"

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili was hospitalized last night, the local bureau of Report informs, citing his Facebook post.

Mikheil Saakashvili noted that he underwent various medical examinations at the clinic.

According to the former president, he no longer feels his extremities and has various brain injuries: “Doctors advised to start medical treatment immediately. Otherwise, my illness will quickly worsen, resulting in disability or death.”

Saakashvili entered Georgia illegally on September 28 last year and was arrested on October 1 in Tbilisi. The ex-president is currently being held in Rustavi Prison No. 12.
