"We are determined to ensure our country's existence and security by clearing this region of terrorists," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu wrote on Twitter.
"From the start of the Syria war, we have supported that country's territorial integrity and will continue to do so from now on. We will contribute to bring serenity, peace and stability to Syria," Çavuşoğlu stressed.
Notably, on October 6, the United States announced that it would not participate in the process, though it agreed to antiterrorist operation by Turkey in northern Syria and the creation of a security zone. According to the report, US servicemen have already left the Syrian-Turkish border.
