Turkiye has launched the LOCALINTERNational program for young people interested in politics and planning to build a career in public administration.
According to Report's correspondent, who is also a participant in the program, young people from more than ten countries attend the event.
The internship program, during which the participants will get acquainted with the activities of municipalities in various cities of Turkiye, is organized by the Union of Municipalities of this country.
This year, as part of LOCALINTERNational, the internship participants will visit the municipalities in Ankara, Balikesir, Canakkale, and Istanbul.
The program aims to provide an insight into the operation of the local government system in Turkiye through presentations, lectures, and practical exercises.
Two representatives of Azerbaijan take part in the program, alongside the young people from Poland, Albania, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, South Sudan, Malawi, and others.
On the first day, the participants visited the office of the Union of Turkish Municipalities and the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
