Kyrgyzstan has reported 69 more COVID-19 cases in a single day, bringing the total number to 21, Report says, citing the RIA Novosti.

By the information of the headquarters for the fight against COVID-19, they recorded nine new cases of coronavirus infection as of April 6, 2020.

According to headquarters representative, all new cases were detected in those who were in the observation.

As Health Minister Sabirzhan Abdikarimov said at a press conference, the country recorded two new deaths from coronavirus in a single day.

"Over the past day, two more people died from COVID-19 in the Osh region," the Minister said.

Thus, a total of people who died from the coronavirus reached 4 in the country. In connection with the outbreak of the disease, Kyrgyzstan introduced a state of emergency in the Republic. Several cities, including the capital, are under a state of emergency.

According to the Minister, the number of cured persons has also increased. "As of April 6, 10 people recovered. Today we are planning to discharge 23 more people."
