Kuleba says Ukrainian army starts using NATO weapons

Ukrainian army shifts to NATO-supplied weapons in the war with Russia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.

Concluding the working week, he specified that Russia will face even greater isolation in terms of sanctions, and the Ukrainian army will 'have something to fight with."

"We have entered a completely new phase, of which no one could even think two months ago. We have entered a qualitatively new phase that no one even dreamed of: the transition of the Ukrainian armed forces to NATO weapons, NATO standards. And it already happens," Kuleba said.

According to him, Zelensky persuaded Biden that it was time to do this.

"And we first received howitzers... but this is just a beginning. We will get far more. And this is a historic turning point," the minister said.

Kuleba noted that Ukrainian soldiers learn to use the new weapons faster than the partner countries can decide on providing this armament.
