An employee of one of the closed restaurants, which were managed by Food Solutions KZ LLP, said that the resumption of the work of restaurants is possible already this month. At the same time, he did not rule out that the work will be resumed "in the no name mode, just like in Belarus."

Yesterday, on January 5, the press service of the American network announced the withdrawal of McDonald's from Kazakhstan amid a reduction in supplies. McDonald's has been working in the country since 2016. In March, the owner of a McDonald's franchise in Kazakhstan, Kairat Boranbaev, was detained on charges of embezzlement.

Bloomberg reported on January 4 that the company's exit from Kazakhstan was due to the cessation of meat supplies from Russia amid hostilities in Ukraine. The restaurants will operate under a new name in Kazakhstan.
