Ivanishvili: Georgia to defeat forces attempting to bring chaos

The parliamentary elections to be held in Georgia on October 26, 2024, are a referendum between war and peace, slavery and dignity, Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party Bidzina Ivanishvili said at the opening of the election campaign, Report informs.

Ivanishvili noted that in the October 26 parliamentary elections, Georgia will certainly beat the forces that have been trying to bring chaos and drag the country into a war.

"Despite the most difficult challenges and the most severe pressures, during the past four years, we have maintained peace, doubled the country's nominal economy in dollars, and received the EU candidate status," he added.

According to Ivanishvili, once the war in Ukraine ends, global and regional political interests will change, and Georgia will become an object of interest for world players.
