Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will visit the Moscow Cathedral Mosque and meet with Muslim clergy as part of his trip to Russia, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
"There will be a bilateral meeting, as well as communication with muftis and imams from different regions of our country," said a source in the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation.
First Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Alexander Zhukov said earlier that Raisi would speak at a plenary session of the lower house of the Russian parliament on Thursday. The Rossiya 1 TV channel also reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin would hold talks with his Iranian counterpart in Moscow this week.
