Iran says 'no plans' to quit talks in Vienna over change of power

Tehran won't quit talks on the nuclear deal in Vienna after the inauguration of new President Ibrahim Raisi, spokesman for Iranian Foreign Ministry Saeed Khatibzadeh said, Report informs, citing TASS.

"We will never quit the talks in Vienna. The democratic change of power is underway in Iran, and these changes bring changes to the composition of the executive power," he said, as quoted by Fars News Agency.

Talks between Iran and five countries - Russia, Great Britain, China, France, and Germany - have been underway in Vienna since April over the restoration of the Iranian nuclear deal in its original form. The parties discuss the removal of the US sanctions on Iran, fulfillment of Iran's nuclear commitments, and returning the United States to the deal.
