Governor of Ardabil Hadi Ameli announced the opening of the border checkpoint in the north of the province to expand relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, especially in the transit of goods.

“The development of relations between Iran and Azerbaijan is one of the issues of concern to the people of our country and our northern neighbour. This issue was also discussed at the meeting of the presidents of the two countries,” he said.
