Iran invited to CSTO exercises

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has invited Iran as an observer to the organization's Combat Brotherhood - 2023 exercises, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, said at a press conference held on August 28.
He said military observers from China, Saudi Arabia, and Mongolia will join the exercises.
Sidorov did not reveal the plan of the exercises but stressed that serious attention will be paid to the aviation component, particularly the use of a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles.
