News that former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was killed is false, the IRNA news agency said, citing a statement from the former president's office, Report informs.
According to the update, Ahmadinejad's office dismissed the news as a lie.
Some news media earlier noted that the former president was killed in Tehran.
