ICRC President to visit Russia

President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Peter Mauer will visit Moscow today, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that Mauer will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on March 24.

"Russia commends ICRC's mediation efforts in Ukraine. We are confident that Peter Mauer's Moscow visit will further strengthen cooperation between Russia and ICRC in this field," the ministry said.
