The second round of presidential elections is taking place in Türkiye today.

According to Report's correspondent sent to the brotherly country, the citizens are highly active at the polling stations.

The voting process continues without any problems.

Türkiye is voting in the second round of the presidential elections.

In the first round, held on May 14, Recep Tayyip Erdogan won 49.52 percent of the vote, and opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu won 44.88 percent, while ATA Alliance candidate Sinan Ogan won 5.17 percent. The voter turnout was 88.92 percent.

Later, Ogan spoke in support of the incumbent head of state.

Since none of the candidates received more than 50 percent of the vote in the first round, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kemal Kilicdaroglu continue to fight in the second round.
