"Thanks to the measures taken in the country, Georgia hasn't yet reached the peak in coronavirus" local Bureau of Report quotes Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze, as saying.

According to her, however, it does not mean that the number of positive cases will not increase further. "We expect a specific peak."

The Minister said that even at this peak, the country has enough resources to treat all patients.

511 people have contracted COVID-19 in the neighboring country so far, 156 recovered, 6 died.
