Radicals from the Gaza Strip have fired more than 11,500 rockets at Israel since October 7, about 2,000 of them fell on the territory of the Palestinian enclave itself, spokesperson for the Israeli government, Eylon Levy, said at a briefing for foreign journalists, Report informs referring to TASS.
“Since the start of the Hamas massacre on October 7, Hamas has fired more than 11,500 rockets into Israel. Of these, more than 2,000 launches failed, most of these projectiles landed in the Gaza Strip itself, causing significant destruction,” he noted.
He added that since the beginning of the military operation in the Gaza Strip, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops have killed at least half of the battalion commanders of the radical Hamas movement in the Palestinian enclave.
“To date, the IDF has already killed half of the Hamas battalion commanders. Troops continue to advance inside the Gaza Strip with significant air support. This campaign has already significantly reduced Hamas’ military capabilities,” he noted.
