Georgian FM: "I am ready for close co-op with Azerbaijan"

"I am looking forward to working closely to further boost friendly relations with Azerbaijan," Georgia's newly-appointed Foreign Minister Ilya Darchiashvili wrote in a Twitter post, the local bureau of Report informs.

He said he had an interesting chat with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.

"We discussed the positive dynamics of the Georgian-Azerbaijani cooperation in various areas, the main aspects of the bilateral agenda, as well as the regional situation."
