Georgian Airways preparing lawsuit against Russia in amount of $ 25 million

Georgian Airways is preparing lawsuit against Russian Ministry of Transport in the amount of $ 25 million.

Local bureau of Report informs that the due statement came company CEO Roman Bokeria.

According to him, the appeal to be addressed the European Court is related to the unfair decision of the Russian side to ban flights to Georgia.

Bokeria said Georgian Airways suffered significant financial losses as a result of Russia's ban and the rights of its passengers were violated.

Notably, Russia suspended direct flights to Georgia from July 8 this year.
