Georgia to receive 100,000 doses of Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccine

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will deliver 100,000 doses of the Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccine to Georgia, Report informs.

The upcoming delivery was announced at the meeting of the Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia Ekaterine Tikaradze with ICRC representatives.

Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia said that the details of the vaccine’s supply to Georgia will be announced shortly.

Georgia received the first batch of Chinese vaccine (100,000 doses) on April 29, and vaccination with the jab began on May 4.
